91 civic swap a6 to z6 help....

Icon3 91 civic swap a6 to z6 help....

ok so i swapped my a6 with a z6 and used the a6 head (non-vtec) and stuck with the same ecu from the a6 when i started it for the first time today after the swap it runs but but putters like a muscle car in park then after 30 secs or so it jus revs by itself between 1 1/4 - 2 1/4 do i need the ecu from the z6 and if so will it plug right in to my a6 wireing dont have a lot of money so im trying to fix this problem cheaply jus so i can get it out of the garage and does the head from the a6 make a different in it running like **** let me know wat you guys think i need it fixed soon....

does your car have a p28 ecu? if it does u shouldnt need to replace it. you can get it chipped and tuned for around 25 dollars and it will run better than ever. proformance will improve too. as far as the reving problem goes its just a honda thing. my car does it and my brothers civic does it. people will tell you its a vaccum leak but you probably wont find one. it goes away usually once the car warms up and it dosent seem to harm the car in anyways
