Well you have a few choices....

Quaife makes LSD Diffs for B-series trannys, and are one of the best around. They run from 700-1400 bucks depending on model.

Phatom Grip -aka bunny grip is a lsd device, that goes in your stock diff and locks it up. Some road racers like these, but personally I have used one and think it kinda blows for drag racing, yes its better than nothing.. But for 250 bucks a small peice of metal really isnt worth it.

Kaaz Makes LSD's for B-series trannys as well, but I dont know much about them, I belive they are strictly JDM..

Or you could get a Factory LSD Diff, offered in some YS1 and Y1 trannys.

the transmission that you have dictates what LSD's are compatible. i believe that with an S1, the factory LSD will not work because of different gearsets and bearing mounts. it may be possible to put in a YS1 (stock LSD tranny) gearset and LSD, this should cost more than a Quaife. my reccomendation would be to look into the ATS gearset and diff, (if they make a diff??) this will shorten your gearing significantly, drastically improving acceleration, and use stronger synchro's. JDM_DOHC_SIR posted some very good information on this subject a few months ago. SEARCH!!!

guys, if u wanna know, every LSD has diferent intended purposes. the "phantom grip" will break easily, dont use that. go into a forum that actually knows about aftermarket LSD (ITR/roadracing) and ask them, im sure they ahve ALOT more useful info on LSD's than other ppl

are you sure about that? i heard that phantom grip acts like posi traction but for fwd. kind of like how old school fwd draggers would weld the spider gears so both tires wouls spin equally. which is why i heard that phantom grip is not good cause its only for straights
