Default I also have udder problems.

My car misses when it idles and I think I hear a valve tapping but the damn exhaust is so loud that I can't really tell to be sure. Anyway I had an Apexi ITC (ignition timing controller) which was bad when I bought it (I bought it used off of some guy and now I'm out 300 bucks). But when I drove it the first time after I had it wired up my car went haywire and would barely run enough to get it home. It kept stalling and barely had enough power to move forward (I could only go about 15MPH ). I was close to home and felt I was getting to be on a first name basis with the local towing company so I just tried to nurse it home. When it stalled out, there was a really weird noise. It sounded like the exhuast was leaking out of the intake. So I finally made it home and now my one turn signal light was stuck on. So a week or so later I take out the bad timing controller and splice back all those damn wires at the ECU.

Related note: When I went to test drive it after removing the ITC, that is when my front wheel fell off due to my camber kit issues.
Anyway, I think one or more of my valves may be bent. When it misses at idle I hear a click and then a missfire. The valves are quiet at idle other than this sound (intermittently).
I just drove it around with the 75 shot trying to blow it up but I'm just wondering could that bad timing controller throw off my timing so bad that it bent a valve?
I believe I'm cursed!

At this point I'm pretty sure my engine is done due to the valves. I'm not sure what is exactly wrong but I plan on getting an h22 anyway so I may just pull the f22b now. It just sucks because I really didn't get to enjoy my car this summer.

damn.. seems like you have the worst of luck homie... so is the car just sitting there?

since you were planning swapping the motor.. i was wondering if you could sell me a part off of the car.. specifically the FIA control solenoid. that would be that solenoid looking thing with the two vacuum lines going into the intake manifold. its black and sits on top of the intake manifold near the injectors..

Yeah it's just sitting there but I don't want to sell anything off of it yet. I sometimes need to move it in or out of the garage. I still may take it out and just run nitrous through it until it is toast. I tried the other day but the damn thing won't die!
