ok my car is idling low and shaking slightly while it idles, any suggestions on what could be wrong?

 

did you recently add anything to your car (mods)? try resetting your ecu.

 

I noticed that mine occasionally idles a little lower than normal after I installed an intake. Resetting the ECU didn't fix the problem. I also experienced a little shaking every so often at idle when my valves were out of adjustment.

 

i still don't know whats wrong, anybody else have any suggestions?

 

does it just do it when the car is cold or 1st started up?

My car does this as well. I have gone thorough and inspected all the tubing for air leaks. I think my exhaust system might have a leak somewhere so im going to check the ghaskets next. Another possibility is timing. if your timing is off enough you can have a bad idle.

 

PCV valve can affect idle too...
