squishy clutch / wont go in gear
Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone with a bit of wisdom would be able to diagnose my problem.
Clutch and transmission seemed fine, I was able to shift just fine and every - went for a long drive, parked the car for 6 hours came outside was pretty cold out - clutch was squishy but still shifted in okay.
Drove home, garged the car, was cold over night, came started up the car - clutch was still squishy, let the car warm up for about 5 minutes - then pushedin the clutch, and wont shift into gear and if i try to force it it grinds.
Anyone have any advice for me?

check the clutch slave for leaks, take off boot cover and check for fluid.
check clutch master, look under the dash for fluid leaks
if neither leaking try bleeding

Had the same thing happen on my DB8, found out that the clutch pump (the peddle were you press the clutch in) was leaking to the inside of car, now I got a oil spot on my carpet
.... Funny thing is, It happed after it got cold out.

He means a clutch master cylinder. Did it fail on you? Sounds like it did. That is the problem with 10 plus year cars. They eventually just take a crap on ya. I find it necessary to always take a glance at the master cylinders to see if they are leaking. You do not want it fail on you.

Yeah It did, but I would bleed the clutch line and it would last me few moths until it got soft again, So I did change it off a JDM RH front clip (BTW jdm clutch master into a usdm dose not fit that well, but works.)

Same thing happened to me and it was my master leaking. Do what 94rs-turbo said to confirm it is your master and replace it ASAP, you don't want brake fluid eating away at your floor broad.
Same thing happened to my DB8 I parked it and it was fine came out the next morning and I couldn't get it in to gear. I checked the carpet directly below the clutch master cylinder and found it was wet with fluid. Replaced and I was up and running in no time.
