Default vtec problem

ok so i have a 90 accord with a f23a1 vtec motor in it and i bought a f22b vtec ecu for it and before i tried hooking up vtec the rpm's climbed unlike the old ecu where they would go to about 4 then just go nowhere. but now when i tried hooking vtec up my check engine light says vtec pressure switch and when it hits 5000 rpm it stutters and goes nowhere. any ideas on what i might have done wrong with the pressure switch or if its something else?
-also i think i have read before that when changing these ecu's i need to swap the a6 and a11 pins because my other check engine codes are egr valve and 02 sensor is this true?

not for sure on changing the pins but when it studders and spits and stuff into vtec sounds like u need to take the top of the vtec silenoid off and clean the screen and if that doesnt work try cleaning the bottom part of the silenoid it also has a screen if this doesnt worrk then not sure could be oil pressure

I would atleast grab a helms for both engines or find the pin configurations somewhere online and make sure all pins are matched up correctly, assuming you can actually use the f22b ecu with the f23a motor.

VTEC works using oil. If you don't have any oil or are low, VTEC won't work. If that will throw a code I don't know 'though.
