i just got my integra, the hood latches but it doesnt shut tottally on the drives side, the hood hits the turbo and it wont shut fully

i was wondering what options you guys would recommend, i was thinking a small hood scoop or cowl but i cant find one

help is appreciated

no no no turbo must stay, and relocating it isnt an option either

 

figure out a way to relocate it or cut a small hole in the hood so that the turbo will stick out. have seen that done a few times before and i think its pretty cool. only thing is you wont be able to drive in the rain.

 

yeh its gunna be my dd for a while, so rain driving is pretty much a must

 

find someone to fabricate you some piping so you can reposition the turbo. thats about all i know to tell you man. either that or weld you a scoop. but the scoop will look like do do unless done right.

 

get a bigger turbo

im thinkin weld on a scoop for the mean time, and then getting it reloacted and then just buying another hood

 

or instead of spending all that money just relocate it now. save you a lot of money in the end.

 

if it's just hitting the skeleton part of the hood, I'd cut that out. And there'd be no hole visible from the outside. Could also try the hood tilt to give you some more space.

you can see how this s2k guy cut the recessed part of the hood, cutting around the skeleton

yeah put some spacers where the hood is bolted to tilt the hood a bit in the back. thats the cheapest way i could think of going about it...

 

it didnt clear with hood pop, so i got rid of the top mount =((((( and bought a ram horn manifold
