smog + ecu

i have an obd2-b and wanted to get a chipped obd1 p28. do they check the ecu during a smog test?

yes..obd 2 cars have to get smoged as obd2 cars...a obd 2 car will not pass as a obd1..

do they plug into the dlc to check the ecu or something? i guess i'll just swap the computer box then. good lookin!
