what setup would put me over 500hp in a SOHC build???

hey everyone im trying to get a fully built SOHC to make over 500hp can it be done? and if so what should i get? whats a good setup? also this is in a 89 civic hatchback ef style
so far i have a d16y7 block
1.eagle rods
2.vitara pistons
3.block honned and machined etc!
4.micro polish crank.
5.acl stage 3 bearings.
6.new piston rings
7.block guard.
8.laser decked
9. crx si headgasket for lower compression i was told?
d16y8 vtec head mini me action!!
1. skunk2 intake manifold ported and matched sk2 TB
2. aem camgear
3. 550 injectors. do i need bigger?
4.aem fuel rail and b@m fpr and gauge
5. thermal intake manifold and tb gaskets
ok now for the rest of the head build i was thinking KMS engine development!!
1.titanium springs and retainers
2. valves
3.zex cam but now sure which one? anyone know what the best cam is for a fully built d series? im trying to rev this bitch out to like 10k rpm lol
turbo setup!
1.equal length ram horn t3 manifold
2.t3 tchargers.net 60 trim turbo (polished)
3.5bolt down pipe custom
4.38mm tial wastegate & dump tube
5.greddy ic piping and front mount
6.turbo xs rfl bov
7.turbo xs boost controler
8.apexi turbo timer
9. fluidyne half size 38mm turbo rad with jim fab traction bar.
10.walbro 255 fuel pump
car is fully converted to obd1 and is runing a zif socketed p28 with chrome pro and datalogger ETC!
goal is to run 20-30 psi and over 500hp and redline around 10k rpm like a bseries
. think this setup could reach it??

If you're really shooting for 500 then go for some forged pistons and rods. Vitaras are good for 350-400, and with the money you will put into a build like this its just nice to know you aren't risking detonation every time you come close to 10k.

If you're pushing 500hp you'll need a lot of airflow from a large turbo, and definitely some forged internals, sleeved block. Don't skimp on anything, make it reliable!
slywfbpsi...yes you can make huge amounts of power on vitaras, but im speaking from a reliability point of view. I mean, sure, you can throw a crazy turbo setup on a stock block and make big numbers, but that block isnt gonna last a month. The vitaras are good, but imo if you're gonna drop the cash for a 500 horse motor, its nice to have peace of mind.

keep the y7 block and machine it and put the y8 head on it doing a minime? or should i just get a y8 block for the y8 head and do a full real d series vtec.

Seeing how they had around that amount of power in June, looks it lasted more than a month.
To O.P. those injectors and turbo are not going to get you to 500HP.
