Default K20 Turbo in EF...is it just me?

Or does 500+ horses from 33lbs just sound ridiculous?????

A crew member of mine recently put a K20 into his EF, Turbo. I didn't get to track his build, me and him honestly don't get alone to well, more so like A Rival but the long and story of it is that he is putting down 520 or so on 33lbs of Boost, SUPPOSEDLY on a near stock motor.

Does this sound stupid to anyone other then me? Why so low a power figure on So much boost? Like I'm running 17lbs of boost on my H and i'm seeing over 600..

HONESTLY I think he has the compression DUMB LOW...but i'm being told it's a stock motor, 33 lbs, 520hp at the wheel.

Everyones build is diff... The K motor is a different bread of its own too.... Also, turbo size is gonna be critical. You said his k20 was nearly stock.... from my understanding... that is a high compression motor...

So whats the point... are you trying to clown on him or give him props... I know you are rivals... knowing the info you are requesting will help you how?

See that's the point though the K Series motor is High compression, in a boost application that takes away the need to run high boost. When you drop compression of a motor, you supplement that with Higher Boost to make up for the power loss in dropping compression, in theory, YES you are running more boost, perhaps safer then keeping the COmpression at say 10:1 and boosting that.

This INFORMATION doesn't help me or give me any advantage, i'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that this high compression motor took 30+lbs of boost and ONLY made 500+whp???? I've NEVER seen that..Just trying to understand it.
