Default Some Codes thrown on my car

Hello,

I have a 97 Honda Accord which has a check engine light on, I went to autozone and they gave me the codes they are

p0740 (TCC Circuit Malfunction)
p0135 o2 sensor malfunction sensor 1

i know how to replace the o2 sensor , my question is the TCC

From doing research it has something to do with the transmission, but everyone seems to have a diff. answer for the OP. When i drive there is nothing wrong with it, it shifts and drives perfect no matter the speed 0-75 (highest i ever go is 75) so if anyone has any ideas to at least where to start (least expensive first) that would be awesome. It does say (Circuit) So i figured a short or some wiring is the problem, at least hopefully so i dont have to buy a new transmission or possibly have to trade it in just to get a new car.

P0135 is a heater circuit malfunction. Could be the heater circuit in the sensor or the wiring for the sensor. When these heaters short circuit they can blow the fuse also.

P0740 is most likely a hydraulic problem not an electrical problem. If your car drives fine, drive it. But this DTC is an indication of a problem developing and will probably get worse to the point that you finally experience an actual symptom.

I do not know the TCC but I can tell you where to start.

Call Honda dealer to check if your car qualifies for "Emissions Warranty Extension" (Service Bulletin 98-081) which is 14 years or 150,000 miles. If yes, the oxygen sensor is covered under this warranty. I have code P0135 or 41, just let the dealer replaced oxygen sensor 2 weeks ago.

You may want to go to another autozone to read the code again or you can read the code your self to double check TCC code.

Good luck.
