i swapped a 99 ls into my eg hatch
i used a obd1 95 ls's engine harness

now ive read that its plug and play the engine harness should plug rite into the eg's shock tower plugs how ever on the passangers side one of the clips from the engine harness was like upside down when i tried connecting it it would allow the tower plugs to connect all the way because the tops of the connectors were different

i hope i dont sound too confusing it just hard to explain

ill try to take pictures tomorrow to show what im talking about

 

you may be plugging it in wrong. it is all plug and play no matter how you look at it.

 

yes its direct plug and play. I have and obd2 LS swap in my wifes 4 door EG and I even used the stock obd2 harness and it pluged right in.
