Default Rough Idle, studder acceleration, no start

Onto my next problem on my 97 accord. I know have an electrical issue of some sort becuase my alternator is pushing the full 13v when the car is running. Under braking at low idle the radio will shut off if its turned up too loud and the lights dim. Today i got a CEL for high ELD voltage which caught my eye. The fuel filter on it is very old so i'm wonder if the random studdering and random rough idle is due to that but as far as the ELD I'm not sure if its actually the ELD failling or if its just due to weak electrical circuits. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

At higher RPMs i'm good but when its lower I can notice weakness in the elec system.

the fuel filter may help the shuddering, aswell as getting the alt to work right, most honda alt's put out anywhere from 14.1 to 15.7 volts while running, i would have the alt checked cuz the regulator or the brushed could be going bad, question do you have a full system in it? if so the stock alt will no keep up with running the electrical system along with the system, i had that prob on mine, had the alt rewound to put out 145 amps, and no probs with that at all.

Thanks for the fast response. I didn't know the alternator could be rewound. I have an aftermarket dvd player, but with the added items in my car; gauges, piggy back ecu, etc... I believe all that is sucking the life out of my 90 amper. Will keep you posted
