Trouble with parking light flash (Viper 5901) in '99 Civic sedan
I've just about completed my stealth install of this top of the line viper alarm, but I cannot figure out how to get the parking lights to flash when arming, disarming, or when the alarm is going off. I have tapped into the red/black parking light wire in the front kick panel and the rear quarter panel but still nothing. I've even used a relay like so:

But still I am getting nothing. When I tested the signal wire for the parking lights, I get no voltage at all, even when arming/disarming. However, when I have it hooked up to the relay, I get constant 12v to the signal wire coming from the brain. I don't think that is how it is supposed to be and probably not good for it?
There is also a parking light isolation wire coming from the brain, but the stealth install directions don't say anything about it for the light flash. Anyways, I gave it a try and still no luck. But when I tested that wire during arming/disarming (on the relay) I saw that the voltage dropped as the brain clicked (which is when the lights should flash). Could I need to combine these wires somehow? All help is greatly appreciated as I want to wrap this up tonight! Thanks!

WOOT. Awesome, thanks a million Cobb. I knew what you were talking about as soon as you said fuse because I remember opening that up when I first got the alarm in the mail a month ago to see what was loose, but obviously I forgot about it. Thanks so much, I was about to go to bed, and now I can start putting everything back together!!
