So im at the end of my rebuild.. My old oil return setup was ghetto and leaked so I thought I fixed it, and when I go to hook everything up last night the new fitting I put off the oil pan ended up coming off about an inch past the block all the AN fittings on the return line make it so I have about a 2 inches between the end of the return fitting to the oil pan fitting..

everything thing I've tried keeps kinking the damn line >< this is seriously the last thing I need to sort so I can start the car again.

the oil pan had just a straight piece coming off of it so I found a piece of steel that would fit over it and a brass barbed fitting that screwed into it. so it ended up being a little long, Ive been f'in with this oil pan for awhile now and im so pissed..

anyone have any ideas for me? Im all about doing it correctly, but is there any idea how I can get it to work so I can start it while im waiting to order what-ever fitting I might need to make it solid. cars been down for a month now.

its a d16zc with a t3t4 I can post photos of what im talking about when I get home tonight im sure it might help.
