Broke a bolt while removing it from rear LCA...
While I was attempting to remove the bolt out of my rear lca the head snaped and now the broken bolt is stuck inside and the onlything holding it in is the welded nut thats behind the lca. I think at this point the best thing to do is drill the rest of the bolt out but that could be dangerous.. other option is take it to a machine shop but they said they'd charge me about 300 bucks to get three broken bolts out! any ideas??
What I had to do was cut the ******* bushing off with a sawsall and drill out the rest of the bolt from the nut. Yes, I had to replace the bushing but that was why I was taking the LCA off in the first place. Welcome to Honda Rear Suspension HELL
I feel your pain (for whatever thats worth) but we have all been there.

I did a search and i found nothing.. could you post a link maybe?
Also I thought about just starting with a real small drill bit and go bigger and bigger until i could drill through the whole bolt but is that safe?? I dont want to hacksaw the bushing since I don't need it replaced.. any other suggestions??

just remove the whole lca w/ the suspension, cut the shoe, remove the shock and spring, get the bolt pressed out or torched out.
