Default DSM turbos vs Garrett GT ball bearing turbos

Is there a difference in transient response and spool between td04 and td05 turbos (14b. 16g etc) and garrett gt2560r gt28rs and all the other turbos?

I am doing a Twin setup on my 1jz and I can go either Mitsubishi or Garrett t2's . just looking for the better route.

Wow. that is going to take a lot of writing. Have you checked this place out yet, to do a little self-education between the two platforms? This may help..

Now, there's a lot there, but you need to actually READ IT, and understand that there are some nuances and subtle differences between these platforms to help make a decision.

Otherwise, that's just too long for someone to just "spell it out" on a forum like this. No one would have the time, really.
