I have a 1998 Accord with a 2.3 4 cyl motor. Just finished throwing a junk yard used motor in it. I did the timing belt and valve adjustment out of the car. Got it back in and it stalls when you give it throttle. If you give it throttle very very slowly the engine speed increases. Any ideas I the timing is on I checked it. all sensors and hoses are hooked up. Right when starting up it idles irractically quick then goes to a smooth idle.. Any help is appreciated thanks in advance

 

do you have the tps and map sensor hooked up backwards?

 

All the plugs are different so i dont believe so. I just pulled the timing belt cover off and timing is dead nuts! Cant figure this out spark plugs are black also!

 

If a sensor was hooked up wrong wouldnt it throw a CEL? I have no check engine light
