I got a 96 civic that constently comes off the track.... i put some tire cleaner spray where the weather stripping is on the window for driver side it works easy not and doesnt come off track. i did it to passanger side and it still comes off track when its all the way down and u slam the door... or when ur parked on a Hill like a steep hill

 

pull the door trim off and have a look in ther, you wont be long about finding the problem then, check how the rubber sits in the guide down in the door

 

check the track.the bushings that hold it together tend to wear down.you can replace the track with a brand new one from honda.dont go with the aftermarket ones.they fit like ****.the track flexes in a bad way when the wear down.g/l.

 

it sound like the the plastic tabs that are glued to the window have came unglued the tabs are what allow the window to be held in place on the regulater a simple chek would be to roll the window up half way grab it in the corners and move up and down .

 

and the tabs can be reglued with a 2 part expoxy

 

my eg does the exact same thing. Guess i will check them bushings. My plastic tabs are fine
