It seems that the hood release cable is messed up. It opened fine a few days ago but the other day I pulled it and nothing happened. I can hear it trying to do something near the front of the hood and I can also see the cable moving if I look when the doors open. I think maybe something came loose. I noticed the latch to open the hood seemed lower, then the next day is when the hood release cable wasn't working.

Can I open the hood from the outside and how Do I do that? I've read a few threads and a lot say to remove the front or side fender and the grill

 

Before you get into it too heavy, have a 2nd person stand at the hood when you pull the leaver. Have them gently push down on the hood as you are pulling the lever, thi scan help it release..then you can have a good look at that latch!!
