Head stud threads ripped out, Time cert?
well i went to put my head on getting close to having it run again and i ripped out one of the threads in my golden eagle sleeved block. it ripped right at 50 lbs of torque. Some of the other holes dont feel normal as well...where the stud doesnt really bottom out hard like it should. Im affraid about 5 holes need time certs....is this still the best way to deal with this..anyone have part numbers, thread pitches...etc? Im so bummed the NC race looks to be out of my reach now for sure.

use timesert kit p/n 7111...very easy to use. The only downfall is the expense of the kit
thread pitch is m11x1.5...this kit works on b's and k's...timesert doesn't make a full kit for h's

just got done doing the time serts in all 10 holes on the block, torqued to 75 lbs ft and everything is all good. I would highly recommend this method, very fool proof, though time consuming but you end up with a good set of threads!
