arp head studs help!

Default arp head studs help!

Alright i did a bad thing.... I didnt tight the studs into the block all the way and so when i put the head on and went to torque the the nuts the nut went past the thread... And i cant get 4 of them out..! Has anyone did this????

they are only supposed to be finger tight into the block anyways.. unless they were binding so they didnt reach the bottom they should be ok..

i guess i dont really understand what ur asking..

use the prpoer allen wrench and remove the stud from the head and take the nut off then reinstall the studs but make shure they are the proper ones for your app they may be too long but in some cases oil/and coolant gets into the head stud holes when you remove the head and there fore when installing the stud you may have thought you were at the bottom but they wernt. thry that and lmk if it helps.
