Default Power increas from dx exhaust to type R or rsx

Running my turbo d16 on stock exhaust right now and i must say its a blast being that quiet. But it is pretty slow over 6000rpm. I really want a stock sound. Just not sure if its going to improve power a lot buy going to another stock exahust. I do have a cheap 2.5 inch "turbo" muffler (not a staright through) but not sure i want that after market sound

anyone running stock R or rsx exhaust on there turbo cars?

D16z6
on some kind of hybrid t-bird turbo at 6psi (for now)

2.5" mandrel with a thrush glass pack inline and a 2.5" turbo muffler out the back. support more power then the stock z6 can handle and be super quiet. hell even just the turbo muffler and 2.5" exhaust would be quiet.

stock rsx or type r exhaust would be a waste of time.

What does your downpipe look like? The stock exhaust is incredibly restrictive, especially if the cat is still in. Opening it up to 2 1/4" will significantly help spool and top end, without increasing volume much.

Down pipe is pooh lol only 2 1/4 .And pretty hacked up.
hf manifold with poopy apapter.

I thought the oem systems would be a waste as well i just LOVE how quiet it is.

There is lots of room for power improvment. it might make 140 at the wheels right now but as a daily driver and a quiet one at that its pretty fun to drive, and im getting old lol

I only have about 200 into the whole build. runs great. just plugged up
