Didn't get throttle cable with my swap, Little help

Default Didn't get throttle cable with my swap, Little help

I got the jdm sir2 swap for my eg, I have a dx trim, and now, I don't have a throttle cable or the money to get one. Will my stock dx one adapt to the b16a2. Thank for the inputs

A throttle cable is only like $25 at most from the dealer.
Just buy the SI one.

my frient went frm a dx motor to a gsr and used his stock throttle cable for a few months. i dont know exactly how he did it, but the stock cable can be used

It must be jury rigged with some fabricated (or bent) brackets (or various Honda brackets lying around at a shop that does these swaps).

i modifed a piece of metal bracket from lowes to hold down the throttle cable. you should be able to see it in this picture located just underneath the upper strut bar..

Geeez sounds like you dont want nobody to know Im your freind Johnny Boy...dont worry you can go ahead and say it " I AM YOUR FRIEND" Theredskoolingbus!

ohhh yeah and bout the throttle cable yeah i made it fit with some mods...i tied a small c-clamp at the end of the throttle cable (where it is on the pedal side) i did this in order to make it shorter....yeah its really gehtoo but it got the job done...
ps know after a case of beer B20bastard hooked me up with a GSR cable and it is soo much better
