Default I need help with swap dealing with throttle cable

I got the jdm sir2 swap for my eg, I have a dx trim, and now, I don't have a throttle cable or the money to get one. Will my stock dx one adapt to the b16a2. Thank for the inputs

well if it makes you feel any better i have a dx to a 93 but i have a b18c
and i used the dx throttle cable everyone and their mothers told me i had to use the gsr one but it work fine sheesh

It will work. Just flip it around at the fire wall so that its pointing towards the passenger side and route it between the firewall and the manifold. Thats what I did on my 92 SI / 98 B18C1 and it worked perfectly.

I had the same problem, we used some small hose clamps and zip ties to secure the cable to the B16 bracket. I only did this because I was in a pinch and hadn't ordered a cable yet. It worked fine for the week I was waiting on the cable. Just call A&H and order a cable, with shipping it was about $25. That shouldn't be too hard to come up with.

yeah man, just run to the store and get a bracket or soemthing, and use it to shorten or extend the base, and then bolt it down to the stock position.. its very ghetto, but works finee, good luck......
