whats good? i have a 2002 honda civic lx coupe, nd i dislike how the foggys look on the vehicle, i was wondering if i could change the front to the 05 civic look. and how much will it cost? also i want to keep the same headlights.

That's not an '02 to '05 conversion. That's just a front bumper swapped from the 2003 Civic Hybrid. Change the front bumper and call it a day.

I don't know which "middle piece" you're referring to. The Hybrid grill is actually part of the bumper. If you want to swap your stock grill onto the Hybrid bumper, you're going to have to carefully cut and remove the Hybrid grill. Then you'd have to fab something so you could install your OEM grill.

If you're referring to the center piece between the fog lights, that's part of the bumper too. You'd have to cut and remove it if you didn't want it, but without proper patch-work, it'll look sloppy. Personally, I'd just leave it.

LOL. The only difference b/w the two cars you posted is the front lip. AFAIK, that is a PDM only lip.

Ninja edit: grill is also different. If you want that bumper+lip then search phillipines Ebay. SRSLY.

Neither of the cars pictured are his. He has an '02 LX coupe, as noted in his opening post.

The top one is an '03 Civic Hybrid, only available as a sedan. The other car is an 01-03 Civic sedan. Although it has the Hybrid bumper on it, it isn't a Hybrid. (IIRC)

Although the lip is best known as an overseas piece, from what I've read it was also available in Canada. (he didn't mention the lip, though)

You also missed the folding mirrors, sidemarkers, skirts...

So what if neither of the cars he posted are his? This is irrelevant to the conversation. The sedan and coupe fronts are interchangeable.

Re: remaining stuff I missed...he only inquired about a front end conversion. Again, irrelevant....

Just pointing out that they're both different from his '02 LX coupe, lip or no lip.

I know what he inquired about, but you said..

The front lip isn't the only difference between the two cars, so I pointed out some of the other things that are also different.

You sure? I flipped through some pictures of Civics (sedans) from the Philippines and ..

The grill in "pic 2" is a coupe grill, not sedan. Also notice the shape of the fog lights compared to the ones in "pic 2" and those on the silver Civic from the Philippines above.
Almost positive that's just a Hybrid bumper and fogs with a PDM/CDM lip on the car in "pic 2"

I guess it doesn't matter, really. I'm sure the OP knows what they're looking for at this point, lol.

Pic 2 is a PDM bumper. You can tell because the grill can be swapped out. The one It Wasn't Me just posted is considered the pre-face lift which looks like the USDM/JDM front end.

I have the Hybrid bumper as pictured in Pic 1, the grill is really fat and is built into the bumper, it cannot be swapped out.

Allz I gots to say is, "that's a nice front bumper and I want it."

ALSO... If you want to keep the same headlights like you've said... then it's NOT an '05 conversion, like someone else already stated.

The thread that has "READ BEFORE POSTING!" in it's thread title in the 2001-2005 Civic Section also has FAQ's in the title.
