OK, so i just read the thread with the whole power steering info and i'm confused as hell because it doesn't say anything about having a b16a and which pump to use. Well, story is i bought a b16a pump for my jdm b16a (obd1) thinking i could use that with my ek lines (i have a 98 civic ex). SO, did i buy the wrong damn pump and needed a Si pump or can i use the one i bought?

ALSO, if anyone can answer me i bought the JDM pump with high pressure lines but where the hose is and where there is a hardline after a plug its clipped. Does that clipped off part come off if you pull it is the whole line destroyed????

i just did my swap (99 civic) i ended up using my d16 pump, works fine all you need to do is buy a new bolt and nut for the top of the pump bracket because b16 have a thread in and d16 pumps dont (you will once you compare the pump)but yes you can use your d series pump on the b16..
