Default Eliminating knock sensor

Ok I am putting a gsr motor in my car, I bought the block bare but everything is complete now but I'm missing the knock sensor. I am using a chipped p28 so I want to know if I can just run the motor without the sensor or I still need one to plug in there

You can leave the hole open. It shouldn't go through to the inside of the engine. If it really bugs you, just get a 1/8 npt plug and screw that in. If you're running hondata then you can just disable the knock sensor. Otherwise if you're not, your ecu should not allow vtec unless the chip was burned with the knock sensor disabled. Does that make sense?
