My 06 hood will not pop whenever the interior latch handle is pulled. I have tried pulling the cable located on the back of the interior handle with pliers while at the same time having someone push down on the hood but have had no luck in getting the hood to pop. If the cable is broken at the latch end would it pull through the cable sleeving whenever I pull on it with the pliers? Any help would be appreciated.

 

If the cable is broken at any point, pulling at the cable won't do anything. You've got to get creative and break stuff. Been there, done that (not with an Odyssey)
