need some imput, car died and now wont start
ok 1st of all the car is a 92' prelude si with an h22a4 swap converted to obd1, still using the original obd1 h23 dizzy and extrnal coil.
so i started the car fine yesterday and start to drive home, then the car lost all power and shut off. now it just cranks but it doesnt fire.
so far i have check the fuel pump by disconnecting the line going into the fuel rail and when i prime it, fuel shoots out.
i took off the valve cover and inspected the timing belt, everything looked fine.
spark plugs and sprak plug wires look good.
the coil wire was kinda burned and had some corrosion, on the end that plugs into the coil. so i clean it the best i could but still the same thing.
so do you guys think it could be the coil thats bad? maybe the coil wire too, or maybe the dizzy and the ignitor in the dizzy? what else could it be if not a fuel or timing problem?

Test that you do in fact have spark by pulling a plug and arcing it.
Also, just for ***** and giggles, swap with a known good battery and try again.

this doesn't really relate to your problem but im still a "trial user" and cant start my own thread. my car has been acting up ever since i bought it. it runs rich, idle is all over the place, even shuts down if i come out of a high rpm, chek engine light came on. gave me a P. code for a MAp sensor/ecu. i replaced the MAp even tho those dont go bad to often and it started working great. next day same thing started up again. it drives fine if i dive SLOW but the second i gas it it loses most power nd gains speed slowly until around 4000RPM then all power back nd it just kicks. my dads been a mechanic for 25 yrs and he says hes never seen a car do this before. he said best guess is ecu. he figured they F****d mine up when it was sent to JET. ne1 els hav a problem closely related? i dont want to dump money into an ecu if that not going to fix it.
