Default Diagnostic Port for OBD1 1.5 Civic/Cranks but don't start - no spark

SORRY.. I missed the year.. It should be in the other category

Can someone tell me where it is ?

I looked in the passenger footwell on the side and could not find any port .. Is it somewhere else.

Problem

Car cranks but does not start. I checked

1. 12 ish volts at fuel pump (rear seat) AND IT PRIMES

2. There is fuel coming out of fuel filter ( in the engine bay) - could not check at rails

3. Ignition Relay seems to click

4. 5V at map sensor

5. No Spark ( I used a spark plug and grounded it) - no spark on leads

Any insights ? I just went to junkyard to pick a distributor and an ignition relay .. any more help from u would be nice..

Thanks

d

if mechanical timing is off. you will not get any spark. check your timing belt and timing marks. make sure it didnt jump timing.

If the Yel/Blk wire attached to the coil and igniter unit inside the distributor has battery voltage to body ground and the timing belt is not snapped, then test the resistance of the coil and have an auto parts store test the igniter unit.
