Default Best bang for buck motor swap?

Hi just picked up a 94 civic ex coupe and was wondering which motor swap would be best bang for buck with a simple turbo kit? Sorry im new to hondas.. Thanks

best bang for buck, is turboing what you currently have.

if you blow it, you can get another cheap D series.

Or you can build a spare D series and have it ready .

My buddy blew up his b18 and didn't feel like paying a hole bunch for another motor so he just picked up a d16 for like 500 bucks and built that up and made close to the same numbers as his b18.
