Default wheres the best place to get my motor from?

Where is the best place to get a motor for my 93 civic hatchback i live in louisville ky. I still havent made up my mind if i want a B-series or stick with the D-series im still new to the whole motor swap thing. Money is a really big factor as well i wish i could win the lottery lol.

I'll go halves on a crap load of tickets

Hmotorsonline.com is a good spot for B series motors. If you do decide to stick with a D, I would just check the respected marketplace for your region. May I suggest a B18b1, it is a great motor and about the same price as a D series.

With that budget you're better off trying to snag something out of a junkyard. What trim level is your hatch?

I picked up a 94 B18B1 complete swap for $800 w/ B16trans, mounts, throttle cable, ecu and a/c compressor. It can be done for sure. Search the marketplace and craigslist. The mileage may be around the 100k mark, but who cares.

He means VX, CX, HX, DX, EX, LX like that.... those are all trim levels

on hmotorsonline you are going to pay 750 for a JDM B18b longblock... I would much rather shop around the marketplace for your respected region or craigslist

No, you usually CAN'T get an ENTIRE LS swap with an 800 dollar B16 trans for 800 bux. You just got a very GREAT deal.
