90 accord ecu problem
hello a few weeks ago i pulled out the engine on my accord because i planned to do a f23 vtec swap but i then found out that it was harder than i expected and not worth it at all so i dropped the stock f22 back in. once i plugged everything in and made sure everything was connected i went to start it and it only turns over. the dizzy doesn't get any power. and im pretty sure the ecu doesn't turn on because no check engine light comes on when i turn the key and the red LED on the ecu does not blink when i turn the key over. if anybody has an idea on what could cause this please let me know
Check the pins on the connectors there easy to bend plugging them in with the faceplate on. Similer prob on my 93 at 'cept the "d4" light would flash, went to replace tcm after tryin everything else and found pin#4 bent.
You may have disconnected this particular ground in order to remove the engine. That is why it is a very common ground to miss when putting the engine back into the chassis.
It is known as G101 it is usually found bolted to the thermostat (90-93 Accords) and the end of the intake manifold plenum, on the drivers side. (94-97 Accords)

is this the ground you guys are talking about.. whats weird is my 93 lx dont have it . i checked all my ground from my ecu and there is only 2 or 3. cause i had a start problem one day and thought it was this ground but like i said it dont have it. but my problem was the main relay
i guess mine does have it but its just in a different location cause i followed all the grounds from my ecu and they are grounded under the fuse box under the hood
