tuner 1s would be better for your goals than pro 1s

for only a 400whp you should be able to get away with stock cams...Read my signature, true story

I'm actually not going to be using the stock cams, I will be using the Pro series 1s, but I suppose for only a 400whp build it should be alright?

Why spend the big money on cams? ive made (and so have tons of other people) over 600whp on stock cams... your not going to gain much at that power level... why not save the 500 bucks and just turn the boost up a few PSI?

My head was COMPLETLY stock, only revving to 8k RPM on 29psi with a 35R to make the numbers in my sig.... that was on pump gas and meth, ditch the ARP main studs as well unless the main line has been check out already with them in...

For only 400whp... stock cams will work just fine. We've tuned tons of H's on stock cams making much more then 400whp. Invest that money into a properly designed turbo manifold as the log styles will cause exhaust reversion on the H's.

I have a custom tubular manifold. The problem is these cams came with the motor that I bought, so for now I am keeping them in there because the car is getting tuned this week, my only concern was if the cams were going to be a real problem

if you think about it, does it really make sense what you are asking? Why would SKUNK2 spend a ton of money on R&D to make cams that are so big that the over lap like that? Sounds like some one with a V8 is trying to talk about something they know nothing about. SKUNK2 makes bigger cams then that. You should be fine, and if you have ANY doughts, call or email SKUNK2 they have been great about answering questions i have had in the past.

With the pro1's on turbo a very good flowing turbo manifold will be needed a log/restrictive turbo manifold will cause issues with such a cam.
