Default Boost without load?

any hondas here boost and blowoff while they are revving at the line in neutral?
and what would be the reason that some engines would while others don't?

i kinda like that mine doesnt tho cuz people cant tell that im boosted wen im just revving. they assume im all motor. but then a kid i know with a sr20det can hit boost in neutral and and i know the 4G63 does as well.

just trying to learn something new. thanks guys

No motors should hit any boost whatsoever. They should all round off at about 0, but the blowoff valve will open a little if you rev the **** out of it.

its because there isnt much coming out the exaust to push your big turbo. an eclipse on the other hand will blow off because it has a small turbo.
Mine blows off if you rev VERY HIGH. I don't do it often though as I'm sure its not good.

I can't even build vacum bouncing the rev limiter on my ls in park.... but then again I have a huge t3/t04e .63 turbine turbo :D. I will hear it slightly blowoff though but nothing even close to a real blow-off.
