instrument cluster help quick

Default instrument cluster help quick

i really need help i looked in my manual but could find what i need. i must have burned out a relay or fuse because now my speed tach and heat do not work on my cluster swap or my stock cluster but all the signals work and lights still work on my 04 civic cluster but on my stock one cel light and battery light dont work now.is this a relay or a fuse i looked under the hood at fuses and looked under the dash but couldnt find anything

any one else want to try to help? the best thing i can think is that i either fryed all the sensors like the vss heat sensor fuel and rpm but the seams unlikely. is there some sort of cpu or something that controls all this.

1st-This is the 92-00 forum, not the 01-05 forum.

2nd- ALWAYS disconnect the batt- cable before touching wires. if your working near SRS wires you need to disconnect the batt+ cable too and wait at least 3 minutes so you don't blow your airbags.

3rd- You probably blew your multiplex control unit (MCU). It's in the under-dash fuse box. Check fuses #'s 2, 3, and 9 in under-hood fuse/relay box and #10 in the under-dash fuse box with a test light or DMM (multi-meter). Don't just eyeball it.
