Default making odd collectors: tricks of the trade

perhaps nobody would share their tricks, or perhaps they will. but i am going to ask for advice lol

so I'm making a twin scroll manifold for a B in my CRX using an EVO turbo. My feeling is that if I make the collector first without having an idea of what angles I need to make the inlets, I may be in for trouble once I try to get the runners where they need to go. Now I have a basic idea of where I want the runners, but I am not sure what method I want to use to make the collector. Right now I'm thinking about using a paper-towel roll to cut and get into the right shape I need for the collector, then cut some metal pipe to the desired shape. Does anyone else care to share their ideas? This is the first ever manifold I am making by myself from scratch, and I hope it turns out somewhat decent haha. Right now I'm considering having bends go straight into the turbo flange instead of straight pipe.

thanks for any input

use sched 10 PVC piping to get your angles right, its cheap and easy to cut.

cool deal I'm going to try this. I would have tried it earlier today but I broke the input shaft on the transmission in my fox body. I had to spend my spare time getting my B20V teg ready for the street lol. Had to change out a broken axle and replace a mount that I gave to a friend.
