Default Mini Me Setup?

I have a 92 Vx and i was thinking of swaping the head out for a d16z6. I have already done a search but didnt really find the info i was looking for. I want to do the headswap but would like a little more info. I also was planning on turboing it after the mini me was complete. Would this setup be torbo worthy? Thanks

You should consider just getting a Z6. It would be alot better for the fact that you will have a close ratio tranny.

However, if you want to get the VTEC head. I suggest getting a Y8 head. They are considered better designed for Turbo charging anyway.

Also, try a SI/EX tranny first.

Your compression will go up with the head swap. Higher than what I'd through a turbo on. For single cam turbo, motor swap. Thats what I did. D16Z6 w/ GReddy.
