Test Pipe CEL
I am soon to be installing a blox test pipe to my system. I read somewhere that even if the testpipe has an o2 bung to plug in the secondary o2 sensor, it still may cause the cel to come up. Is that true? or is it just in rare cases. My cars a 99 em1 if that info helps. thanks
Of course the CEL is going to come on if you yank the cat!!!! The second o2 sensor will be sniffing dirty exhaust and tell the computer that your cat must be bad. Why are you pulling your cat? You going to run at the track? Or are you one of those guys that runs that way on the street thinking they're going to free up gobs of HP by ripping it out? Better yank out you a/c too! Read this post buddy, then leave your cat in!

This will allow you to use the test pipe and prevent the CEL from coming on.
