What are causes of NOT idling?
95 Civic EX, stock D16z6, turbo kit. The car will not idle to save my life. If I have my foot on the gas a little bit, it'll idle a little, but sound like its missing. Rev it up and the miss goes away. Already checked all vacuum lines, replaced IACV. I have no clue what's going on here. Intake manifold gasket is new, headgasket is new, head was just milled. Almost seems like the TPS is acting up a little because if you try to blurp it a little, it'll hesitate, then it kicks in. Tuned on E85. Fuel pressure is normal. Idle screw is backed out quite a bit. Throttle cable is 'tight.' Running a wideband o2 sensor, but when the car is cold it doesn't need that anyways - should run off the map. PCV valve is hooked up.
Any ideas as to why the car won't stay idling?

After it running for a bit with my foot on the gas I get Code 14. Thanks for bringing this up. I could have sworn 14 was an o2 sensor, but apparently it's the IACV code. I suppose I will hunt down a KNOWN working IACV and throw that in and give it a try. Thanks! Anyone know the reasons why the ECU will trip a Code 14, IACV?
CEL is gone now. Helps when you plug the right connector into the IACV!
Car still isn't idling right though. It starts fine, but hunts for the idle and ends up dying.

Have you done a vacuum check by taking off your intake from the tb and placing your hand over it to create a full seal? If the car doesn't die, it's def. a vacuum leak, if it dies, your vacuum is fine.

Just adding..
If your tuned on Crome, they tend to have some idle issues. I switched to NepTune and smooth as ever.
+1 Like RonJ said, and also, might want to look at the screen and spray carb cleaner in there until it runs clear, let dry and reassemble.

Also another thing, if you take off the PCV line from the intake manifold, it will idle smoothly, but really high. ~2800rpms. But if you plug that back up, it dies.
