Y8 dies with too much throttle
Ive been searching, But i cant find exactly what I'm looking for. So if you know of a thread that will help me, feel free to point me in that direction.
I Recently put a Y8 in my 96 cx hatch.
The motor is a 97 ex D16Y8
The ECU is a 98 Ex auto
The Problem:
It Does idle, But not quite as smooth as it should. Then if you give it throttle, It will die unless you let off.
It Can be somewhat driven short distances (if you baby the throttle)
The head has been surfaced, Valves seated, New gaskets
Compression is good and cam timing is set

No Codes
Mechanical timing is right on (because thats what we originally thought the problem was)
The two plugs is very likely possibility. Ill swap those and see what happens
