When im driving my car and its in gear i hear a humming/buzzing noise when my foot is off the gas.When i press the gas pedal again it will stop.This will happen in all gears and any mph.It sounds like it speeds up in sound until its just a consistent hhhhmmmmmm untll i press the gas again. Any ideas?

 

The noise will go away when i press the clutch pedal too

 

Where do you hear the noise coming from?

 

Sounds like its coming from the engine bay.Im going to jack up the front end and see if i can recreate the problem with a friend listening for an exact location.

It almost sound like a RC cars little motor running,kinda weird

 

Its hard to say unless you can get a little more specific other than coming from the engine bay. Just post on thread when you pinpoint it closer and ill c if can help.

 

Raised the car up and found a ground wire i added to the engine bay had slid over and was in the cooling fans way.Problem Fixed

 

mines kinda sounding like a car accelerating in the distance. definite buzzing sounds more like a back end instead of a engine compartment
