Would low clutch fluid keep from starting?
As the title says, would low clutch fluid keep the car from starting? I think there might be a leak somewhere but recently the car has been difficult to start.
If you're starting with the car in gear (of course pushing the clutch down), then low fluid would cause the clutch to not disengage fully, putting extra drag on the engine. If you're starting in neutral, then no.
I'm not sure then if the starter is going bad or if my alarm is killing the start signal. Some days the car starts just fine, but lately it will click then nada. Is there a way to test the starter before I go out and buy another one.
Depending on what year your accord is, they are notoriious for the ignition switch having problems... Call your dealer service department real quick and have them run the VIN to see if it is on the recall list. Other than that, sounds like possibly the starter
