doood check the clutch engagement. wen ur foot is on the clutch theres a switch that tells the computer its engaged make sure its engaged. also wen i installed my clutch last week i forgot to fill my clutch back up with brake fluid becaus ei beld it before i installed the clutch soo bleed the lines and the clutch pedal should be nice and tight. also double check that starter there a positive wire that has a butt connecter and make sure u but the ground back on the tranny and it has good connection. im almost certain that its the starter or the clutch. good luck

make sure that you put the spade connector back on to the starter and how did you unhook the slave cylinder? if you broke the line loose from the slave cylinder then your gonna have to bleed it before you get any pressure back in it

I'm thinking slave cylinder too. Where is that clutch-starter switch? Doesn't it just detect pedal position? I'm thinking it still should have cranked. You're getting all your dummy lights, right?

Re: (yrethguad)
the switch is up under the dash. if you crawl up under the dash you will see it. however you dont ever touch the switch when changing the clutch there fore i would not think that it would be part of the problem. i have done it before where i did not get the single spade wire all the up on to the connector and it wouldnt start. heres a pic in case you get a little confused of what it is.
this is where the wire gets hooked up at (on the starter)
and this is what the connector looks like
good luck
