yea.....just like 2 days ago, my turbo setup on my crx was working just fine. now yesterday and today, it just feels like it doesnt pull anymore in 1st gear. before i use to hit boost in 1st gear....now all of a sudden i cant even reach 0 psi in 1st.....i took off all my piping, and retightened everything, i dont see any leaks in my piping or anywhere. i checked all my vacumm lines and they are all fine also...... what the hell is wrong?????? when i rev in neutral it spools and everything, but it doesnt read any boost when i rev in neutra. before i use to read boost, or at least hit 0 psi......

help me!

Does it get boost in all the other gears?

 

I get some wierdness like that sometimes, try letting of the gas for a second then go to full throttle, that usually does the trick for my car...

 

This may not be the issue w/ either one of your cars but I had a similar problem where my 1st gear would get zero boost. Then I would shift to 2nd and hit full boost, then occassionally 2nd would do the same. Stepping off the gas, then getting back on it usually took care of it though. I found out it was the shitty/cheap coupler I had running on the intake side of the turbo, it actually collapsed down on itself and closed off the intake all together. Try removing your intake completely and run open turbo temporarily and see if the problem persists.

I'm far from a turbo techie, but could it be because you have a warped turbo housing? First gear is usually so short in most cars that you don't have the chance to get much boost out of a turbo anyways, especially if you're good at launching. But if there's a restriction on the turbo bearings and all of that, it could be a probable cause. Just a thought... not an answer.
