Have a clients crx d16 is burning the rotors like every 5 to 6 pases at the dino . Changed coil,cap,msd,sparkplug cables,coil cable istill burning it. It has a non vtec d16 a pte 61/76,msd 6al, wolf3d engine managment,msd coil,ngk spark plugs,r5671a-8 plugs,dwell is 3.5ms,car makes 525whp at 30 pounds.Any sugestions will be apreciated,thanks alot.

 

What is controlling the coil charge time? Sounds like an EMS issue to me. Show us some pics of these rotors..

If the dizzy shaft is magnetized, then you have a bad dizzy, it happens. Use only OEM rotors IMHO.

 

Coil dwell doesn't matter with a cdi ignition system.
