Hey all, I just bought a 94 vx hatch with a d16z6 si swap, the guy didn't put in an evaporation canister, or hook up vacuum lines, and he didnt convert the 02 sensor to 4 wire. Can I run it at peak performance without the cqnister and vacuum lines? If not, whats the best place to find diagrams? Also, the vtec is hooked up, but not working. I'm getting code 21 and 22. Any ideas?

 

just do a search for a vacuum diagram for a ex or si, you will NEED the vacuum hooked up right before it will run correctly. not sure on the evap canister. youll need to convert the o2 sensor to 4 wire for it to run right as well

Ok, what about the vtec? I got the ecu pinout from ffsquad, but that doesn't help me determine which wires to tie them in to.... anyone found a good writeup for a fresh vtec install? I used to find these things in search but lately it won't bring up anything relative.

 

ok, i ran the Orange/White wire from harness on passenger wheel well to the vtec solenoid, and the orange/purple wire to the blue wire on the vtec switch, but im still getting a CEL 21 and 22, vtec is not engaging. the o2 sensor on the car is a brand new 5 wire, but i still get a cel for it. Anyone have ideas?

 

please help guys, i really want to resolve these issues. The code 41 is for the Heater O2 sensor, i have a 5 wire o2 sensor but from what ive been reading it needs to be converted to 4 wire. can ANYONE help??
