OK
so i did the mini me swap and ran into a couple problems. i finally got the timing done right and did a little valve adjustment so the car would start and run fine.

NOW i took it on a test drive and there is no power on low end. once it reaches about 3-4k rpm it starts to struggle but a little less. currently dont have a intake system on the car (just went for a quick test drive) not sure if that may be causing the issue.

Also my CEL wont turn off. i cleared it numerous times, and it still pops up.


Please help with any suggestions ideas or anyone around SF who can help??

what CEL is it throwing???

and is the harness for a vtec engine or are you still using the y7 harness?

 

It was throwing misfire and i fixed the firing order and adjusted the timing.
cel still stays on.

Im using a p28 ecu with stock y7 harness.
Added the wires for vtec. Have a obd2-1 jumper.

Thinkin maybe the p28 ecu is tryna read dual butterflies on the throttle body?
Car seems to struggle
