Chiped p28 problem

Default Chiped p28 problem

I have just got done chipping a p28 for a friend. I have done only 3 ecus and never had a problem. This one is in a 00 civic and I do not have a stock p28 to try in the car. The guy bought a obd-2b jumper harness when i plug it in the car start and runs fine, no cel but when you try to drive it it bucks and the speedo don't work can anyone help

Well what basemap are you using? What is done to the vehicle? Ect, ect... More information.

Sounds more like a software issue. If you want to put the ecu back to stock mode just remove j1.

well its a 99 si clone with b16 and the jumper harnesses has not been tested and i do not have another car to test in

Where did he buy the harness from? Ebay?

Only sponsor I ever do business with on H-T is Xenocron. I highly doubt it's the harness since the car is starting.

the kid bought the harness on his own but i do alot of business with xenocron

It's hard to say unless you actually do more trouble shooting and report back.
